Variegated Hoya Wayetii
Variegated hoya wayetii
Today we're talking about the hoya wayetti plant, which I would consider it a somewhat hard-to-find plant. I wouldn't call it rare, but you don't usually see it hanging around nurseries too often. Much like other more common hoya plants, the wayetii is easy to care for.
What is the difference between Hoya Wayetii and Kentiana?
What is this? The slight difference that will almost always distinguish the Kentiana and Wayetii is the color of their pedicel and peduncle. As a quick reminder, the pedicel and peduncle are the parts of the stem that bear the flowers. The Hoya Kentiana has a pink pedicel, while the Wayetii are green.
How do you care for variegated Hoya Wayetii?
Your plant needs six hours of bright, indirect sunlight daily to thrive and bloom. The more indirect sunlight the plant receives, the more it will flower. Wayetii plants love lots of light, avoid placing your plant in direct sun as this causes leaves to burn.
Does Hoya Wayetii like to climb?
About the plant: Hoya (hoya in Czech , sometimes falsely called as wax stick ) is an unpretentious climbing succulent plant native to the Philippines. Its stems are decorated with shiny green slimmer fleshy leaves with a light shade. Hoya longifolia Wayetii blooms from spring to autumn if it has the right conditions.
